The school had two extra classrooms added for the senior pupils in 1932.
At that time most children stayed at Spring Hill until they were 14 years old.
More room was needed for these pupils and the two classrooms at the back of the school were added - one downstairs and one upstairs. In the same year the infant school opened. Mr Barrett, the Headteacher at the time wrote in the log book;
